Dear Local Business Owner/Manager,
The Encinitas Educational Foundation at Olivenhain Pioneer Elementary (EEF at OPE) would like to invite you to support our annual Spring Fundraiser. You can participate by donating auction items for our Live or Silent Auction. EEF at OPE funds important programs that enrich the curriculum for all students at OPE. Support from business leaders in our community help to ensure that our children receive a quality education.
Every single child at OPE is touched by the programs funded by EEF at OPE. Specifically, the funds that are raised by EEF at OPE pay the salaries of consultants that teach music, science, reading, math, technology and a structured recess program. The funds also help with the purchase of computers and educational software.
This year’s fundraiser is called “Faces of the Future” and will be held on April 17, 2009, at the Sheraton Carlsbad. Over 200 people are expected to attend. Our goal is to raise $150,000 to support these quality education programs. We plan to meet our goal through a combination of auction proceeds, sponsorships and ticket sales.
Your tax-deductible donation benefits our students, and also provides you with an opportunity to advertise your business to members of our community. You will receive recognition in multiple locations. First, your business will be named in OPE’s e-packet which is our electronic mail system that reaches out to the families of our 720 students. Then, in our auction program which is mailed to attendees in advance of the event. Third, your company will be listed on the EEF at OPE website. We will also highlight your name on signage at the event and we will be happy to display your publicity materials upon request.
